AI can already copy how a person sounds, looks, and speaks. This invention adds what it leaves out: the electromagnetic presence living beings emit. Synthetic companions, robots, avatars, and remote participants can emit that signature and adjust it in real time to the situation and to how the user feels.
The problem
People, animals, and plants emit electromagnetic fields, including infrared heat from the human body. Research suggests living things detect and respond to these signals. Today’s AI personas, robotic pets, holograms, and video calls reproduce sight and sound only, so they lack the physical sense of someone being present.
The invention
A synthesis engine builds a synthetic object from stored attributes such as a voice, a visual form, and an electromagnetic signature recorded from a real source. It selects the signature that fits the current task, environment, and user sentiment, emits it through an emitter such as an infrared or heating element, and uses feedback to improve the next interaction.
Robotic pets and humanoid companions that feel more lifelike and respond to the owner’s mood.
Assistants delivered through chat, video, or robots that adjust their emitted signature to the tone of the conversation.
Holograms, telepresence robots, online calls, and VR or AR headsets that add the sense of a person in the room.
A synthetic version of a grower’s presence in greenhouses and fields, studied for its effect on plant health.
Rooms and venues that combine sound, haptics, and electromagnetic fields to shape mood and presence.
Interactions between synthetic personas used to predict compatibility in groups and matching.
